I like studying in the Law tower at night, the view of the city and the absence of other undergrads makes studying so much more comfortable. It is weird to be surrounded by lawyers though. The lawyers have pamphlets up everywhere for their entertainment group the "Legal Follies" Maybe government and laws wouldn't bother me so much if it was more humorous more often.

Barry Goldwater
AuH2O, the most believable politician in the last 50 years. Believable because he was honestly and openly radical, and real people are often more radical than they appear, if not open about it. He was a republican who was not afraid to defend the right of gays to be gay before that was publicly acceptable. He was a republican who believed in freedom, voted for freedom, argued for freedom, and did not deviate. He was a republican who warned of the impending highjack of the party by the religious right. He ran a campaign that could not win, but I have never heard of a more honest campaign. He alone makes me want to be a republican.
Some interesting facts about Barry Goldwater:
He had piloted over 100 types of aircraft in his lifetime
He had a strong interest in Southwestern native americans
He had Jewish grandparents
He was interested in UFOs
Perhaps the most famous political ad in US history was run against him (The Daisy Commercial)
He only won 6 states in the presidential election
